UK top ten box office countdown (WE 08 July 2013)

Well, nothing could knock Despicable Me 2 off the top spot despite five new films in the top ten and some of the hottest weather of the year so far.

As said above, five new films went into this week’s chart. Bollywood films ran supreme at the bottom end of the chart with Singam and Lootera entering in at number nine and eight respectfully, hitting the number seven spot was drama The Bling Ring. The other two new films that went into the top ten managed to go in at number three and two: comedy film The Internship was this week’s new number three and magic thriller Now You See Me hit the number two spot.

New Releases: Only two new films of any note is out this week and both of them are huge ones, so if you want to watch something new at the cinema then the films on offer are animated sequel Monsters University and robots fights monsters in OTT action film Pacific Rim.
