UK top ten box office countdown (WE 13th January 2014)

January 14th, 2014 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Despite the overwhelming praise it has been getting, American Hustle could only hold on to the top spot for one week, thanks to another film that has been getting just as much attention, Steve McQueen’s 12 Years a Slave which is now the new box office number one.

Two other new films found their way into this week’s chart. Firstly, going in at number seven, was the drama comedy Delivery Man starring Vince Vaughn. This week’s other new entry went to Colin Firth in true life drama The Railway Man.

New Releases – This week is a bit short on new films to choose from, so if you want to trek to the cinema to sample something new then you have horror film Devil’s Due and dark comedy drama Wolf of Wall Street.
