August 22nd, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Well it looks like people weren’t that interested in Alan Partridge’s foray on the big screen as it has been knocked of the top spot all the way down to number seven.

Three new films went into this week’s chart, in fact all three of them make up the top end of the chart. First off, going in at number three was comedy action film 2 Guns, hitting the number two spot was Planes, the latest animated film from Disney. This week’s highest new entry and kicking everybody else’s butt was Kick-Ass 2.

New Releases: If you’re after something new to go and see at the cinema this week then the movies on offer are the latest film from Neil Blomkamp, Elysium, the latest film to try and take the Twilight crown with Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, saucy drama with Lovelace and comedy We’re the Millers.
