UK top ten box office countdown (WE 30th September 2013)

October 3rd, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Not an explosive week when it comes to the box office top 10, however last week’s number one Rush has been toppled by one of the three new entries on offer.

As I said above, three new films went into the top five of this week’s chart. First off, going in at number four and taking a low £764,000, was action thriller Runner Runner, going in one place above it at number three was Woody Allen’s latest movie Blue Jasmine. This week’s highest new entry and new number one went to tough drama Prisoners.

New Releases – Again it’s a week of small releases: on offer is James McAvoy in insane comedy/drama/thriller/what-ever-the-hell it is film Filth, small apocalyptic drama How I Live Now and small Scottish film Sunshine on Leith.
