UK top ten box office countdown (WE 7th October 2013)

October 10th, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

It’s not a good time for the box office as of late as this week saw a 51% drop on the same time last year, making it the highest drop off of the year so far.

On to the top ten and there is no change at the top of the chart with last week’s number one, Prisoners, still holding on to the top spot.

Two new films went into this week’s top ten, in fact they entered this week’s top five. Firstly, going in at number three was the brilliant Scottish musical drama Sunshine on Leith, the highest new entry went to the insane dark comedy drama Filth.

New Releases – another low key week, however there is a lot of new films to choose from, firstly there is comedy Baggage Claim, next is drama based on Wikileaks The Fifth Estate, insane over-the-top action film Machete Kills, another version of Romeo and Juliet and your final choice is Not Another Happy Ending.
