UK top ten box office countdown (WE 9th December 2013)

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has finally been caught as is no longer reigning supreme at the top of the chart, Disney’s latest film Frozen has managed to knock it off the top spot and become the new king of the top ten.

Along with Frozen, there was two other new films in this week’s chart, firstly going in at number ten was black and white road movie Nebraska. The other new entry went to the latest film starring Jason Statham and written by Sylvester Stallone, Homefont which managed to hit the number five spot.

New Release – Only one film of any note is released this week and you can probably easily predict that it will be next week’s new number one, the film in question is The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
