Despite a week where a few films came out, none of them managed to knock last week’s top film, Paddington, off the top spot, in fact the number two film Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 managed to stay at the number two spot too.

There were new films in this week’s chart in the form of dark British thriller Black Sea which went in at number ten, comedy drama St Vincent at number nine, fantastic British Christmas adventure movie Get Santa at number seven, and animated spin-off from the Madagascar films with the Penguins of Madagascar at number three.

Upcoming – No other film thought to challenge this weeks only new main release and that is The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.
