US top ten box office countdown (WE 05th January 2014)

Well the first top ten of 2014 hasn’t given us anything in the way of surprises, in fact last week’s number one, Frozen, has managed to spend another week at the top of the chart.

Only one new film went this week, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, despite the film only going in at number two and taking just under the $20 million it has still taken nearly four times its budget, making it another success for Jason Blum’s production house.

New Releases – Only one new film is out this week and that’s the action film The Legend of Hercules starring Kellan Lutz.
