US top ten box office countdown (WE 13th July 2014)

July 15th, 2014 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Well the Transformers couldn’t hold on to the top spot for a third week as it has been knocked down to the number two by those damned dirty apes with Dawn of Planet of the Apes becoming to new number one.

When it comes to other new entries in the chart, well there was none, the only film to make its way into the top ten that wasn’t there last week was romantic comedy Begin Again which rose from number 15 to this week’s number nine.

New Releases – Well it’s not another week where we only get one new release as three new films will be trying to make some kind of impact, so if you’re after something new then you have an animated sequel with Planes: Fire and Rescue, horror thriller sequel with The Purge: Anarchy and the only none sequel comedy Sex Tape.
