July 1st, 2014 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Last weeks victorious film, Think Like a Man Too, could only hold to the top spot for one week as it was inevitable that it would be knocked off by this week’s only new entry.

This week’s highest new entry went to Transformers: Age of Extinction. The film which is the start of a new trilogy, according to Michael Bay, grossed $100 million in its opening weekend, putting it in third out of the four Transformers films on their opening weekend.

New Releases – With next Friday being Independence Day in the US each of the new films have been brought forward to a Wednesday release date, so on offer is horror film Deliver Us From Evil, kid’s adventure in Earth to Echo and comedy Tammy.
