US top ten box office countdown (WE 6th July 2014)

July 7th, 2014 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Despite three new films being released this week, none of them could shift Transformers: Age of Extinction off the top spot even though it was the lowest taking number one film on the 4th of July since 2001 and the only non-new entry since then.

As said above, three new films silently crept into this week’s chart. Firstly, going in at number six, was kid’s adventure Earth to Echo, hitting the number three spot was the latest horror film from Scott Derrickson with Deliver us From Evil, the final new entry went to Tammy which hit the number two spot.

New Releases – There is only one film of note out this week and I implore you to go and see it to knock Transformers off the top spot and that’s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
