BATMAN v SUPERMAN

If you recall, Batman V Superman was actually going to release this summer, in fact, it would’ve already been out by now with a July 17th release date before. But it got pushed back, and because of that, Warner Bros took a hit in profits in the box office. True, some of their movies did good, San Andreas was the biggest grosser. But the BVS hole is felt. So…was it the right call? The boss at Warner Bros. seems to think so.

“It was a tough decision at the time because it was going to create a hole in 2015,” he says. “But it was absolutely the right decision for the franchise, for DC and the movie. Having seen the movie multiple times, and again last night, I’m extremely confident it was the right decision to make the movie better. And it’s so important for the studio to get the foundation right on DC.”

This is actually the second time a private screening of BVS was mentioned in regards to the DC/WB big wigs. That should show that the movie is primed for release and may just be as epic as we think it will be.
