Warners reveal Matrix 4 will debut on same day as John Wick 4! More Keanu for your buck!

Holy crap! What happens when two of action cinema’s – and Keanu Reeves’ – greatest characters go face-to-face? No clue but we’ll fine out in 2021!

Warners have dropped release dates for The Flash (July 1st, 2022) and The Matrix 4 which will arrive on May 21st, 2021, which just happens to be the day Lionsgate are releasing John Wick 4 too.

Now, providing these dates don’t change in any way, that’s a double date at the cinema!

For The Flash Ezra Miller will return as Barry Allen, with It director Andy Muschietti helming it and hopefully it’ll happen this time!

We also know that Aquaman 2 is still slated for December 16th, 2022 and DC Super Pets (still no idea) is to arrive on May 30th, 2022.

But Reeves’ new Matrix movie is the big news here as it and John Wick are unquestionably Reeves biggest movies in coming years… well, after Bill & Ted Face The Music next year.

The Matrix will star Reeves and Carrie Anne Moss, with Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Groff, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Jada Pinkett Smith. Still no side of Lawrence Fishburne though. Grrrrrrrr!

Warners have also confirmed The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It will open September 11th, 2020, and Mortal Kombat  is set for January 15th, 2021.

Oh and, on the down side, Warners have removed Akira (live-action) from their schedule on May 21st, 2021 and placed it… no where. Yup, it’s gone.

So, will you be getting your double Reeves on that day? What about Flash, are you excited? Let me know…
