Marvel or DC: it’s becoming something of an age-old debate. For many, they prefer the dark, brooding cinematic universe of DC, while others love the popcorn-crunching light-heartedness of Marvel. Some people can’t stand Tony Stark’s sardonic one-liners in Iron Man and The Avengers but could watch Heath Ledger’s maniacal and impossibly dark portrayal of The Joker in The Dark Knight over and over again.

Well, it seem that Marvel star Anthony Mackie, who will appear as Falcon in Captain America: Civil War next year, has no doubts over which side he’s on: “What was the last good DC movie you saw?” Mackie asked his Collider interviewer, before being taken aback when the response was Man of Steel.

“You’re bananas… you’re bananas,” the Captain America star said.

Mackie went on to say that it scared him that the interviewer would defend the movie and watch it on loop. Watch the entire, totally whacked out interview below:

He interns at REDNI, sub-editing for the Belfast Telegraph. He studied at Queen's University pretending to like history and literature and then University of Ulster Coleraine, where he slacked off enormously for a year and somehow got away with it. He also enjoys Captain Morgans, The Sopranos, Led Zeppelin and Hunter S. Thompson which makes him a remarkably uninteresting person.
