While it was pretty much revealed last week that the upcoming Dundee: The Son Of A Legend Returns Home isn’t a real movie but rather an elaborate and impressive ad campaign for the Australian tourist board, we’re still getting fun little teasers.
And the latest teaser features none other than Hugh Jackman, Australia’s other favourite export.
Check it out below along with another fun clip that nods back to the Dundee legacy.
Crocodile Dundee is back. Well, actually, he’s missing in the Outback and the only person who might be able to find him is the loudmouthed American son no one knew he had: introducing Danny McBride as Brian Dundee.
This son of a legend is forced to channel his Aussie roots as he teams with a local expert, Wally Jr, played by Chris Hemsworth. Together, they’ll embark on the ultimate adventure in the land down under.
It’s time to live up to the family name.
Dundee returns summer 2018
Fans of the original movie will, of course, recognise this as a fun recreation of a scene from it.
We also got a second clip featuring, well, we should have seen this coming, Hugh Jackman:
You didn’t really think they’d bring back Dundee … without me, did you?! #DundeeMovie pic.twitter.com/jHjcZSnGdn
