WATCH: Forget The Vulture, Michael Keaton wants us to remember he’s Batman!

June 11th, 2017 by Marc Comments

He may be playing the bad guy in Spider-man: Homecoming, but Michael Keaton wants us to remember that he is, and always will be, Batman!

On Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week, the actor was talking about playing the Vulture in the new Marvel movie but when Kimmel asked him about the role, Keaton replied: “No, I’m Batman! What the f*ck are you talking about?”

When Kimmel pushed further,  Keaton insisted: “let’s talk about Batman!”

Seriously though, could Keaton be any cooler? No, we don’t think so…

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Directed by John Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau and Robert Downey Jr.

Spider-Man: Homecoming comes to UK cinemas on Wednesday 5th July.

Oh and there’s a new ad featuring Spidey below…

Oh, and here’s a new ad for TIM featuring Spider-man himself!

He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife.
