Oh Hugh Jackman, curse your niceness!

Yes, Jackman once again proves that he may be the nicest bloke in Hollywood wehn on Thursday, May 2nd, fans got the special opportunity to ask Hugh Jackman questions about the highly anticipated film The Wolverine and we have the full Q&A embedded below.

He answers a selection of random questions about why he likes playing the character, what sort of training he goes through for the character, how Japan fits into the story, how his appraoch to playing the character has evoloved over the years and what parts of the movie we should be looking forward to. I must say, despite not being blown away by the footage so far, I am getting rather excited for this…

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

THE WOLVERINE opens in cinemas across the UK on 25th July 2013.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
