A new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released during Game 7 of the World Series last night and you can watch it at the bottom of the page. Coming in a under a minute, it comes hard and fast but there’s plenty in there to breakdown and enjoy…

Meanwhile, Kathleen Kennedy, the head of Lucasfilm and Star Wars has been talking about the future of the franchise on The Star Wars Show:

In the interview she drops some interesting hints about the future of the franchise and, surprise, there’s plans for at least another decade of war.

“We’re sitting down now, we’re talking about the next ten years of Star Wars stories and we’re looking at narratively where that might go,” Kennedy says.

“Future stories beyond Episode IX, with these new characters, Rey, Poe, Finn, BB-8, but we’re also looking at working with people that are interested in coming into the Star Wars world and taking us to places that we haven’t been yet, and that’s exciting too because it’s a vast galaxy far, far away. The possibilities are endless.”

So it looks like we know that Rey, Poe and Finn will survive the current trilogy… don’t we?

Anyway, how do you feel about ten more years (at least) of Star Wars? Let us know…

Also, check out the Dark and Lightside international posters for the movie…

Star Wars: The Last Jedi, arrives in cinemas on the 15th of December

He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
