Writer/director/actor Kevin Smith has taken to the socials to let us know that the trailer for Clerks III is only a week away!
Yes, next Wednesday Dante (Brian O’Halloran), Randall (Jeff Anderson), Becky (Rosario Dawson) and Elia (Trevor Fehrman) all return for the third movie in the Clerks series.
Clerks is a series I hold very dear to my heart, so I’m pretty excited to see the gang return along with Jay and Silent Bob (Smith and Jason Mewes) for what may be the final outing of the gang… but I hope not.
It also sounds like he will, like Jay and Silent Bob Get Rebooted, that he plans on taking the movie on a tour before full release, so there’ll be full details on that too with more coming at Comic-Con next month.
In Clerks III, following a massive heart attack, Randal enlists Dante, Elias, Jay and Silent Bob to make a movie immortalizing his life at the convenience store that started it all.
Previously, Smith had said: “Years ago, Dante and Randal made me a filmmaker – so now it’s time I return the favor.”
The movie will also see Clerks and Clerks II stars Jay Mewes (Jay) and Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) return.
