WATCH: New clip from Zack Snyder’s R-rated Justice League and second trailer release date announced

February 7th, 2021 by Marc Comments

New footage of Zack Snyder’s Justice League! And a new trailer coming!

Snyder has released a new clip from his highly-anticipated Justice League set for HBO Max next month and the clip focuses Ray Fisher’s Cyborg or, rather, Victor Stone during the football game which was removed from Joss Whedon’s theatrical cut of the movie.

On top of this, the clip, below, tells us that a new trailer will drop on Valentine’s Day, February 14th! That’s one week from tonight, gang.

Snyder’s Justice League has recently been confirmed as being R-rated for ‘Violence and some language’ – for comparison, Whedon’s Joss Whedon was a PG-13  for ‘sequences of sci-fi violence and action’. This puts Snyder’s Justice League in the same category as his own Watchmen and other comic book movies such as Deadpool, Darkman and Logan.

In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions.

The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.

Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League arrives on HBO Max on March 18th
