So, at the weekend it was revealed that a sequel to the previous Crocodile Dundee movies was on the way (here).
Starring, em, Danny McBride as the son of Paul Hogan – also returning – the movie sees the son trying to find the father with the help of Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, playing Wally Jr, son of Dundee’s business partner Walter “Wally” Reilly played by John Meillon in the previous two movies (edit – I have to be honest, I didn’t realise there was a third CD movie, hence this should read previous THREE movies – Marc): “This expert outdoorsman prides himself on knowing all the is to know about the land down under. But even he will have his hands full keeping his new American friend out of trouble.”
Crocodile Dundee is back. Well, actually, he’s missing in the Outback and the only person who might be able to find him is the loudmouthed American son no one knew he had: introducing Danny McBride as Brian Dundee.
This son of a legend is forced to channel his Aussie roots as he teams with a local expert, Wally Jr, played by Chris Hemsworth. Together, they’ll embark on the ultimate adventure in the land down under.
It’s time to live up to the family name.
