So we have a Muppet murder mystery movie. Which sounds awesome, right?

Well, in fairness, it certainly could be good but, well, it’s really, really adult! Sex, violence, Melissa McCarthy, all the stuff Muppet fans should find offensive.

And it’s a genuine Muppet movie, coming from Brian Henson, son of Jim Henson, and the man behind Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island and more.

Two clashing detectives with a shared secret, one human (Melissa McCarthy) and one puppet, are forced to work together again to solve the brutal murders of the former cast of a beloved classic puppet television show.
