WATCH: Scream 7 teaser hints at festive fun… and that’s not all!

Happy Christmas, Scream fans!

A new festive teaser has dropped for Scream 7 with Ghostface getting all Christmassy!

The teaser below is the first time the Scream franchise has really leaned into any of the big holidays, and it has me wondering if the original plan to set the movie during Christmas (link below) is still going to feature in the story?

This isn’t the only festive Ghostface treat, though, as NECA have also released a tease of (probably) a new Ghostface figure which features everyone’s favourite knife-wielding lunatic dressed like Santa:

No lies… that figure will be in my collection the second it hits shelves!

When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target.

Scream VII to be set at Christmas? Freaky writer now onboard?

Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.

Scream 7 stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Isabel May, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, McKenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons and Mark Consuelos and is driected by Kevin Williamson.

See you all in a couple of months!

Scream 7 hits cinemas on February 27th, 2026

Ho! Ho! Ho! Check out the festive teaser:

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
