Ryan Reynolds has been pushing all along to get Deadpool done properly and that means it being R-rated… and there’s been a lot of worry that FOX, wanting it to be part of the X-Men movie universe might be afraid of making it that full on.

And earlier today it seemed that the worst was to be as Reynolds started winding everyone up on Twitter (below)… be rejoice, it was all in the name of April Fool’s Day!

First Reynolds Tweeted:

Then he added:

And then he finally admits…

And then, just to make sure it was all cleared up, Reynolds recorded the below clip with JoBlo and, while it’s fun, it’s also NSFW…

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool is scheduled for a release on February 12, 2016.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
