We have our first teaser for Sonic the Hedgehog 4, and along with the title reveal, below, we now know that we’re just a year out from its release and that Jim Carrey is returning as Robotnik!
Word on the street is that Carrey is actually filming his scenes at the moment.
The Sonic franchise, now coming up on four live-action movies and a TV series, has really become a fan favourite over the last few years, which is especially impressive given the fan reaction to Sonic’s original look in the 2020 movie, which led the studio to pivot and redesign the character and push the movie back. It was worth it as the fans have rewarded them and stuck by them every step of the way since.

Just goes to show, if you show the fans you care what they think, it not only ensures they’ll stand by you, but it also means you’re more likely to have a successful movie. Now, who could learn from that? Answers on a postcard…
