Hard to believe as it may be, Ridley Scott’s timeless sci-fi terror, Alien is 40 years old this year and it looks like there’s going to be some celebrating done.
We’ve got a trailer for a new series of short movies to celebrate the birthday called Alien Anthology.
The trailer (below) ramps the terror up nicely and gets us excited to explore a few new, dark corners of the Alien universe, saying: “In celebration of Ridley Scott’s groundbreaking film Alien (1979), we’re excited to premiere the trailer for our 40th Anniversary Shorts! Six visionary filmmakers were selected to bring their Alien-inspired stories to life.”
Of course we learned a few weeks ago we’re getting an Alien: Isolation series (here) and we expect over the coming weeks and months there’ll be more surprises in store.
