As fans of the 28 Days Later series, we’ve been well-treated today as the full trailer for 28 Years Later has dropped along with two new posters!
The highly anticipated movie is the thrid in the series and also the beginning of a whole new trilogy, so we zombie fans are in for a treat if this trailer is anything to go by!
Taking place after the events of 28 Weeks Later, the Rage Virus has returned, and a group of survivors must survive in a world ravaged by hordes of the infected.
Cillian Murphy reprises his role from 28 Days Later, starring alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer, Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Erin Kellyman, and Edvin Ryding.
28 Years Later is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 20, 2025, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
A sequel, titled 28 Years Later Part II: The Bone Temple, was shot back-to-back with 28 Years Later; it is directed by Nia DaCosta, with Boyle and Garland returning as writers and producers and Murphy reprising his role.
