Who doesn’t love good end of the world drama?

Well, if that’s your thing then check out the trailer Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin’s new apocalyptic thriller Greenland.

I have to be honest, while it harkens back to Armageddon and Deep Impact, this movie, which sees Butler as a father trying to reach a government bunker in Greenland to save his family after a meteor breaks up on the way to earth and starts raining down massive, city destroying, chunks on earth.

I’m not going to lie, Butler may not be renowned for his stimulating cinema, this actually looks like an thrilling throwback to the age of disaster movies that is long gone and I have to admit, I could see myself buying a ticket for this.

What say you all? Is this a yes or a no for you? Let know your thoughts.

A family struggles for survival in the face of a cataclysmic natural disaster.

Greenland stars Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, Scott Glenn and is in theaters on August 14th, 2020
