WATCH: Vin Diesel has revealed he has the script for Riddick 4: Furya

July 25th, 2019 by Marc Comments

You know, say what you want about Vin Diesel, but he’s at the front of two of my favourite franchises… Fast & Furious and The Chronicles of Riddick.

And it looks like we may just be getting a fourth movie for the series – although, technically, the animated Dark Fury is a third movie, so this would be movie number five.

But, I digress.

So, for his birthday, the star was presented with the script to the new movie, Riddick 4: Furya by writer/creator David Twohy: “That’s the birthday present I got that I think you would all appreciate,” Diesel said

“The RIDDICK 4 script. This is exciting.”

And, a cool detail? On the front page, it says: Everyone wants to be a beast until it’s time to do what real beasts do.

Since the adventure started in 2000 with Pitch Black, Twohy and Diesel have already brought us The Chronicles and Riddick and Riddick in 2013… and ever since Universal has been trying to get a fourth instalment, so it’s very likely that this will happen and, in all honesty, I’m here for that.

Thoughts gang?

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
