WATCH: Wonder Woman’s Etta Candy gets a teaser for her new home release adventure

August 27th, 2017 by Marc Comments

While neither Man of Steel nor Batman V Superman has post-credit scenes or epilogues (yes, we know Suicide Squad did), many hoped that DC would follow in Marvel’s footsteps and include a little more after the main movie ends.

However, it seems the home release of Wonder Woman will have a special little something… but rather than focus on Justice League or anything like that, it will focus on Lucy Davis’ Etta Candy: Etta’s Mission. In the new scene “Etta Candy gets the boys back together for a secret mission that could impact humanity’s future.”

We loved Etta in the movie as thought she was the perfect comic relief and actually were left wanting to know more about her character… so here’s hoping we get it with this one.

In Wonder Woman, before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that’s raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

Wonder Woman releases on digital HD on Aug. 29 and on Blu-ray on Sept. 19.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
