Have some major plot details from the upcoming James Bond 25 been released? This better be nonsense!
POTENTIALLY MASSIVE SPOILERS
There’s a rumour going around that the plot of the new James Bond movie will see the Secret Agent quitting MI5 because he is now happily married – yes, married – to Léa Seydoux’s Dr. Madeleine Swann:

However, all does not go well as the woman Bond loves is murdered, forcing him to return to Secret Agenting.
Sound a little familiar? Well, it should…
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969) concluded with Bond marrying Tracy di Vicenzo only for her to be killed when Ernst Stavro Blofeld opens fire on their vehicle:

The death of Tracy has been a steadfast part of Bond’s history and she’s regarded as probably the only woman Bond ever truly loved.
So, if Neal Purvis and Robert Wade’s script does follow this path it means that either Bond was married twice or, as suspected in SPECTRE when Bond met Blofeld for the first time again, this is indeed a new start for the Bond franchise and anything pre-Craig doesn’t apply any more.
Either way, we hope this isn’t the way the franchise aims to continue…
Bond 25 is set for theaters on November 8th, 2019.
