A few days ago we got a good look at Amber Herd as the Queen of Atlantic, Mera, and it really looks like she stepped out of the pages of one of DC’s New 52 comics (here).
And, while Aquaman’s look in Batman V Superman and the upcoming Justice League is nothing like how he looks in the new comics, it looks like it is possible that he will have a new outfit by either the end of Justice League or perhaps in his standalone movie by director James Wan.
This image (below) appears to be a maquette from Aquaman and seems to have Jason Mamoa is the comic-accurate suit – we put in an image from the comics so you can see what we mean.

We have to stress that there is no way of knowing if this image is the real deal, but if it is then we can expect two very different versions of Arthur Curry in the DC Cinema Universe. Could the above outfit be for when he becomes king?
Who knows? But we’ll find out soon.
