What if we told you you have already seen Batman’s new ‘tactical suit‘ and Willem DaFoe’s Atlantean armour from Justice League and you just didn’t realise?
Well, according to Comicbook, who had a set visit last week, we saw them both in February!
The image above was shared at the end of February and at the time everyone was guessing what we were seeing and it seems we’d never have guessed exactly what we were being shown as we simply couldn’t have known until all the news (here) yesterday.
“In the background of a photo Zack Snyder shared in the costume designing room of Warner Brothers’ London studio stands a black mold of a costume. Many folks jumped to the conclusion of the costume belonging to Nightwing, which was probably out of hope more than anything, but after being on the set, I can tell you it is actually an early model of the Tactical Batsuit.
“By the time the suit comes to life on the set of Justice League, being worn by Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne, it will receive some gray coloring, belt straps around the core areas, leg and arm braces, goggles which will reflect light to give the white-eyed Batman effect, and (most importantly) and Batman symbol across the chest.”
The Atlantean armour behind it, which everyone guessed was Aquaman’s is reported to be Willem Dafoe’s Vulko costume.
How’s that for a slice of fried gold?
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, this marks the big screen debut of the Justice League, featuring an all-star lineup: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher.
Justice League is schedule to be released in movie theaters on November 17th, 2017.
