WATCH: Are UFOs a threat to Irish pilots?

April 29th, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Are Irish pilots in danger from UFOs? Reports have surfaced that many pilots over the Irish skies have had more than their fair share of close encounters.

This is in keeping with the upsurge in reports of unidentified flying objects in the skies above Ireland. It is claimed more are coming forward with their tales of emergency diversions just as they are coming in to land. They say that they almost collide with a strange cloud within which is a solid object. Carl Nally, founder of UFO and Paranormal Research, claims that this is the case. There are even reports that an aircraft was damaged. He also reported that a detective filmed a triangular craft shooting beams at the ground near Dunboyne, Co. Meath.

A well-known conspiracy theorist, Nally says that this stuff is happening over Dublin airport and has called for the Irish government to release its X-Files in the same vein as France, the UK and Germany for public scrutiny. He also believes that the Tuskar Rock air tragedy in which 61 people died was in fact caused by a mid-air collision with a UFO. It crashed in unexplained circumstances off the Wexford coast in 1968.

What has kicked this off is a video (below) of a trail of glowing lights travelling across the skies above Cork last week which has split skeptics and believers alike. It was taken last December at dusk and is indeed compelling footage. But as they say, the truth is out there.
