Funko have a very distinct stylised look which they’re currently pushing over small vinyl figures (Mystery Mini Figures), fabric plush figures (Fabrikations), bobble heads and four inch vinyl figures (Funko Pop figures), and now this new line: Vinyl Idolz.
Funko have revealed their first three figures in a series that is close to my heart: Ghostbusters! Doctors Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz and Egon Spengler – the original three-man team.
These should be available from June and are up for pre-order now from some American based retailers.
I’m hoping that the Ghostbusters see a second wave including Winston Zeddemore, Dana Barrett and Janine Melnitz. Knowing Funko, I can’t see them only releasing only three Ghostbusters!
