Hot off the news that Sony’s PS4 has passed 20 million sold, the company has also revealed that their upcoming virtual reality system, Project Morpheus, will be coming out early next year.
According to Shuhei Yoshida, President of Worldwide Studios, Sony Computer Entertainment, “we are one step closer to realizing our vision of making virtual reality a reality in games.”
The VR system is set to boast a “1920 x RGB x 1080 OLED display with a 120hz refresh rate”. Also, it’s latency will only be a mere 18 milliseconds. It is that feature that will help consumers become fully emerged in the virtual reality.
