11/26/63 Coming To Hulu

September 22nd, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

It’s not hard to stay that the stories of Stephen King are still popular. Look no further than the hit CBS summer series Under the Dome.

Now though, according to Coming Soon, another Stephen King story is coming to screens near you. This time though on Hulu.

11/26/63, is scheduled to be a 9-part event series, and has some serious names behind the scenes. Including Stephen King himself, J.J Abrams and the Bad Robot team, Bridget Carpenter and Bryan Burk.

The story follows an English teacher who gets sent back in time to try and stop the assassination of John F. Kennedy. His mission goes awry though as threats both familiar (see: Lee Harvey Oswald) and unfamiliar (see: time itself) try and stop him.

“If I ever wrote a book that cries out for long-form, event TV programming,  ’11/22/63′ is it,” says King. “I’m excited that it’s going to happen, and am  looking forward to working with J.J. Abrams and the whole Bad Robot team.”
