Get ready for the new daily show

Another founding member of Legends of Tomorrow departing the show

It looks like Legends of Tomorrow is set to lose one of the Arrowverse’s longest-serving members.

Ireland’s own Dominic Purcell who plays Mick Rory/Heatwave who started off back in the day in The Flash’s first season alongside Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold/Leonard Snart. The duo then joined the Legends and Snart left several seasons ago, leaving Purcell as one of the few founding members remaining.

The star took to Instagram and wrote: “I’ll give ya 1 more/stay honorable to my contract. #season7…. thanks to @warnerbrostv @dccomics @cw_legendsoftomorrow.”

He added: “It’s not lost on me how fortunate I am in a world full of turmoil and tragedy/nor the unfairness of life; that I prevail while others struggle. 😞……. ps to celebrities/ rich people the “well off”. We don’t wanna see how awesome your life is on social it’s not the time nor the place at present. Get a clue. “

It’s nice to see that Purcell is still well-grounded and the show will certainly miss him when he goes.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
