Arrow season four has yet more new faces…  Comingsoon.net explains that Parker Young, is to join the series as a love interest for Willa Holland’s character Thea Queen and True Blood star Rutina Wesley has signed for a multi- episode arc.

It seems the current cast is set to be very large. What will be interesting is how they will fit everyone it.

It’s no surprise then that I’m a little worried about how this season will turn out, paparticularly when there are so many new characters being added. Each will need back-story, explanation and time for us to get to know them. It is possible that could happen, or already has over a few seasons but for others it does seem like a bit of a chaotic mix.

Furthermore, the end of season three gives us more questions than answers: “Will Oliver ever truly be able to leave behind his past as the Arrow, and, if so, what becomes of the team he has worked so hard to assemble? Will Diggle, Thea, and Laurel be left to continue Oliver’s crusade without him? And with Malcolm Merlyn having ascended to the top of the League of Assassins as the new Ra’s al Ghul, is anyone really safe?”

EW are also reporting that  Elysia Rotaru has signed up as Oliver’s new flashback love interest, Marc Guggenheim told the magazine: “Oliver is gonna have a love interest in the past that will serve as a parallel or potentially a contrast to his love affair with Felicity in the present.”

I just don’t know how they will fit it all in, and if they do what will happen to the characters and story in general.

Arrow is set to return on 7th October
