Big Chilling Adventures of Sabrina news coming tomorrow as we get new poster

September 12th, 2018 by Marc Comments

The official Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Twitter has revealed that something big is going tomorrow…

Now, while we don’t know what it is, we’d have to assume it’s a trailer or at least teaser as we have numerous posters (that one above is the latest and very cool) and a release date, so all we need now it to actually get a look at it.

Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka, who played Sally Draper, has been cast as Sabrina Spellman in Netflix’s new series based on Archie Comics Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and will see the character, possibly best known for her TV incarnation in the 1990s, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, “as an empowered young woman, half-human, half-witch, Sabrina is just beginning her dark education as a sorceress, even as she tries to maintain a normal life as a sophomore at Baxter High. Intelligent, compassionate and brave to the point of recklessness, Sabrina is all that stands between us and the forces of darkness that threaten our world.”

Executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said: “We’re all such huge fans of Kiernan’s work that when we started talking about who this new incarnation of Sabrina could be, her name was on everyone’s wish list.

“This is a darker, more macabre version of Sabrina, and we’re incredibly excited for people to see Kiernan make this iconic character her own.”

We’re pretty excited to see what Netflix does with Sabrina as she steps into a darker realm than many fans will know her for.

Sabina casts a spell on October 26th on Netflix.

He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
