BREAKING: DC Subscription service reveals name AND a James Wan produced Swamp Thing series

We’ve been reporting on the DC Subscription service for a while now and tonight we have loads of news on it including an official name, logos and a really exciting new series.

First up, the service will be called DC Universe and here’s the details:

Young Justice: Outsiders is the long awaited third season of the fan favourite Young Justice series. You can read all about how it came to be, who’ll be in it and much more here

Theres’s not a awful lot known about the series yet except it’s going to be animated and more adult oriented – like Deadpool tonally we hear – Margot Robbie is expected to voice Quinn and several characters including Joker, Poison Ivy and others are expected to appear. Find it all out here.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Lindsey Gort as Detective Amy Rohrbach, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Dwain Murphy as Negative Man, Jake Michaels as Cliff Steel, April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, and Bruno Bichir as Dr. Niles Caulder. Here’s the official synopsis:

“Titans explores one of the most popular comic book teams ever. It follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.”

Titans is set to premiere in 2018 

We also know that Lobo’s daughter, Doom Patrol and many others are set to appear in the show.

So, that’s the show we know about… now for the BIG one we didn’t before:

DC Universe will exclusively be streaming a  new Swamp Thing live-action series.

Yes!

And what’s more, it’s going to be overseen by Aquaman director James Wan!
