The new X-Files limited series has just made a very interesting cast addition in the form of Community star Joel McHale.
According to THR he: “will play Tad O’Malley, the anchor of a popular conservative Internet news network who becomes an unlikely ally for Mulder (David Duchovny).”
There’s not much else known right now, but this is the first announcement of a new actor to The X-Files as all the other announcements so far have been returning stars.
And it’s a pretty awesome and suitably nerdy choice.
The new X-Files series will premiere on January 24th, 2016
