Well, we all fought the good fight, but it looks like Constantine in now officially in trouble as The CW, the network that runs Arrow, Flash and soon Legends of Tomorrow has officially turned down the chance tto pick up Constantine, putting him their DC uninverse.
And, to be honest, we’re really sad about it. Show runner Daniel Cerone Tweeted earlier, admitting defeat (below). Does this mean Constantine is gone altogether? Well, it’s hard to say, presumably we could see Matt Ryan pop up in Arrow somewhere down the line as Constantine or maybe someone else could pick it up, but we get the feeling this was its best shot.
At least for now.
Tough morning. Feeling your disappointment. Touched by the continued enthusiasm. #Constantine #SaveConstantine #Hellblazers
