Courage the Cowardly Dog prequel in development

November 22nd, 2019 by Geralt of Australia Comments

Creators of the original Courage the Cowardly Dog have confirmed that a prequel series is currently in the works at Cartoon Network.

The original series was one of the few animated dark comedies for kids and ran for four seasons between 1999-2002. For those who’ve been living under a rock for a while, Courage was everyone’s favorite purple anthropomorphic pooch who lived with his two elderly owners in the middle of nowhere.

While the prequel is currently in development, even the creators don’t know where it will be going or how it’s developing, creator John Dilworth has said that he doesn’t want to get his hopes up just quite yet though since it’s still just in the development stage.

So what did you think of the original cartoon? Do you think a prequel series is a good idea? Let us know in the comments.

Stay tuned for more details and stay nerdy folks.
