So we’ve had all the Star Wars and Marvel TV news from D23 so here’s a round-up of all the rest.
Without further ado.
First up, Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe, an original film, will be available exclusively on Disney+ and it may be among the news that has me the most excited from he whole event last night. Here’s the poster:
Interestingly, the movie was originally set for release in 2013 theatrically but ended up being shelved. The plot involves the stepbrothers in a race to rescue their sister, who has been abducted by aliens and lives in a bro-free utopia on a far-away planet. I love watching this show with the family, so I’m totally in.
Next up, a weird announcement as we’re getting a series staring Jeff Goldblum that will see him travel the world and share the wonder with us. Or something.

Next up is the Lady and the Tramp live-action movie. Here’s the poster and the trailer:
In Disney+’s “Lady and the Tramp,” a timeless re-telling of the 1955 animated classic, a pampered house dog and a tough but lovable stray embark on an unexpected adventure and, despite their differences, grow closer and come to understand the value of home.
On top of all the familiar stuff, there will be original content (shock, I know) as there’ll be a Stargirl movie based on the book of the same nam and Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made which is also based on a book, and stars a giant polar bear.
Next up, Anna Kendrick has to ave Christmas this November win festive comedy Noelle, in which Santa’s daughter is full of Christmas spirit and holiday fun, but wishes she could do something “important” like her beloved brother Nick, who will take over from their father this Christmas.
When Nick is about to crumble like a gingerbread cookie from all the pressure, Noelle suggests he take a break and get away…but when he doesn’t return, Noelle must find her brother and bring him back in time to save Christmas.
