With Disney+ currently ramping up its content in the Marvel and Star Wars universes, we’re always keen to hear who may be playing the next big hero/villain/Jedi/whatever.
And tonight we have a doozy.
It seems that Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, may be in the running for the title role in the subscription service’s Moon Knight series according to reporter Daniel Richtman.
Yes, apparently Radcliffe is down to the last few choices to play Marc Spectre in the show. Spectre is a darkly funny character, a former CIA agent who was almost killed by a terrorist but was saved by the Moon God Khonshu and who speaks to his own various past incarnations and resembles, in other ways, Batman as a dark vigilante who deals out vengeance and justice.
And Radcliffe has proven that he can handle more than just Hogwarts adventures with roles in movie like Horns and Swiss Army Man.
It’s certainly an interesting rumour and we all know if there’s one thing Marvel/Disney do well, it’s cast their characters.
What say you all?
