Well, it looks like the ball is truly rolling on the Teen Titans TV series…
Yes, young Australian actress Teagan Croft has been cast in the upcoming series from Arrow showrunner Greg Berlanti along with Akiva Goldsman and DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer Geoff Johns.
The 13-year-old newcomer will play Raven, described as the daughter of a demon, is a powerful empath who must keep her emotions in check or risk unleashing her demonic side.
Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.
There’s been no wry on who will play the additional characters yet, but given Croft’s age, the emphasis will definitely be on the teen aspect…
Titan is set to hit DC’s new streaming service sometime in the near future.
