Dead Rising is a game in which you play as one of four survivors during a zombie apocalypse who use pretty much anything that comes to hand to destroy the undead in as messy a way as possible. What’s not to love?

And now Legendary have sold the (US) domestic movie rights to Crackle where the now in production movie will premiere. It will be penned by Tim Carter who will co-produce with Tomas Harlan as Contradiction Films – they were the guys behind Mortal Kombat: Legacy.

The movie will be distributed in the US as a feature length, em, feature and in other areas it will be available episodically.

Content Media will distribute Dead Rising in both feature-length and episodic formats for all international platforms.
