Could Arrow star John Barrowman be heading back to Cardiff to film his return to Doctor Who?

The actor was just last week in Cardiff for a book signing but he filmed himself leaving Wales and dropped a tease that he’s coming back very soon: “I will be back in Cardiff in about a week and a half. But I’m not telling you what for…sssh!”

You can watch his Facebook Video here.

Barrowman became a breakout star as Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who during the Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant era. He hasn’t been in the show since but, as an immortal, he’s always a possibility for returning.

He also fronted the spin-off Torchwood show which had a decidedly darker tone than regular Who.

Doctor Who is currently getting ready to film this year’s Christmas special and then the 2017 season in Roath Lock studios in Cardiff Bay, so the timing certainly adds up.

Or he could be heading to the new Who Spinoff show, Class… we’d love that too but we’d really like to see him meet Peter Capaldi’s Timelord.

What say you all?
