I want to believe. These were the words lived by the fans of the 90s classic series, The X-Files. With the current revival that in production, a lot of attention has been pointed towards the cast again, in particular, David Duchovny.
In a recent interview on The Late, Late Show, with James Corden, Reggie Watts, the show’s drummer, asked Duchovny if he believed in Extra Terrestrials.
Duchovny responded by saying: “Oh – it’s a serious question? I did some [research]. This is a long time ago, Reggie. This is 20 years ago. I remember I used to try to answer my fan mail because there wasn’t much of it, and they would bring it to me. There were stories that people would tell me about being abducted. They would just make me sad. I thought that these people had issues that they had to deal with. So the answer is: no and never!”
X-Files will be returning to our screens very shortly, so whether Duchovny believes in them or not, he is going to be facing them soon.
